First of all, I believe that the three key components for a journalist are to have leadership, also take note of the community image and lastly professionalism and educational purposes. For instance, I believe that leadership is a key component because people need to be able to stand up for themselves and for others if they need help. Leadership plays a key role because many people who are trying to get to a high level of journalism may get jitters because many might not be used to going up to other to interview. Showing leadership is key because you need to be independent when figuring out and researching different stories instead of people doing it for you. Also, the community image also key to a having a well-organized story that people from the community can relate so certain subjects going on around them. This is important because usually, the community has to be intreated to reading an article that’s not just about school but topics going outside of school. Lastly, the last component for a journalist is professionalism and educational purposes because the topic should be more professional and not just jokes. Being professional is key since you should take your job as a journalist seriously and make sure you are able to inform your community.
